Denver Engagement Photographer | Lakeside Amusement Park | Urban Denver

We'll start with the ending. Can you feel the love oozing from these two?

We had some fun with the photo booth.
These were all taken inside Lakeside Amusement Park. The manager told us that photographers ask to photograph this park all the time and are turned away. The engagment was enough to make her sway ... well, that and she didn't tell the owner I had a camera.

Here's the train station. I LOVED this location. I loved how they dressed. Love.

Some outdoor shots. Again, love them. They were at ease in front of me (as I walked into busy streets, stood on top of pick up trucks, and let a woman know she had parked in my "space" as I was shooting).

These were of THE moment. I had a huge zoom lens and was hiding far away. I have no idea what they said to each other. Just the way it should be. I was there, but not really.
Perfect.

We arrived with 7 balloons and left with 3. Funny, I have no recollection of losing 4. You would think I would notice that sort of thing.

Family Photographer | Wash Park | Denver Colorado | In the Moment Photography

Because when you are in love, every day is worth documenting.

Every look is worth cherishing.

Every sunset is worth seeing.

Because these laughs are for each other.

Because each kiss is ... amazing.

Because it's real.

Because you're cute when you think about the butterflies.

Because.

This is what love looks like.

Family Photography Session | In the Moment by Valerie Koop | Parker Colorado

There were three who dressed in their finest - all the way from across the sea ...

To chat with their dolls, have some fun ... and to drink lots and lots of tea.

Fall Photoshoot | Parker, CO | Family Photographer | In the Moment by Valerie Koop

In the previous post I mentioned that NOT looking at the camera is wonderful.

But.

Sometimes, it's everything.

Holiday Cards | 2009 | In the Moment Photography

Holiday Cards are here! Sessions must be completed by November 20th to guarantee breathing room for holiday delivery. I will do everything in my power to get cards to those who book November 20th-December 1st, but there is no guarantee. My advice is to book now to avoid disappointment.

I LOVE this entire set. Hard to choose a favorite.

This set contains the Koop Christmas card, but you won't know which one until it arrives in your mailbox. I looooove this time of year!

Super cute, and something for everyone...

What's Hot in Clothing

LOVE this under Dad's button up shirt. LOve it any which way, actually.

How brilliant is this with boots? You can wear the pettiskirt with anything. Dresses up a Sunday dress ... and adds a funky edge to the rest. Claire just might be getting this soon. Very soon.

Check out their great ties!!!

Pictures: The Silly Wagon

One of my very favorite online clothing boutiques is the Silly Wagon. They have fantastic clothing that is unique, well made, and ... fresh.

When you want to dress your Littles in something a bit different. A bit special. Check them out!
Link is also on my "fun clothing suggestions" sidebar.

Photographer Capturing the Birth ...

I came across this blog | website tonight that I had to share.

The photographer specializes in photographing births. Her gallery is just amazing. I love the idea of this because usually it is Dad with the camera ... who should be in the moment with Mom | holding the baby | talking to the Doc ...

So let someone like this capture all those moments for you. I just love this.

P.S. I didn't look to see where she is located, but I am sure there are others doing something similar?

What to dress her in for her portrait?

If you are into this sort of thing ... (I most definitely am!)

Oospy Daisy Baby is a site I oogle over. I have three different ones for you to use for portraits. But if you are the type that needs your own (ahem, I mean for your daughter), you can find them here: Oospy.

Baby Announcements

Beyond Red and Green is a company that does ... you guessed it! Cards. These are from their brand new line up ... and it makes me want another!

Inspiration for Clients ... and Me, too!

The world of photography is small. A lot smaller than you think. But that doesn't make it any less overwhelming! Where to find the BEST Holiday cards ... ideas of how to decorate your studio space ... your office space ... your mental space ... Who is the up and comer? The seasoned Pro? Where do you go for all things photography?

The Savvy Photographer. The site is ah=maz-ing. And not just for me. For you, too! Look at this:

Doesn't this idea just open up a whole new world over your sofa?! (It also makes me want that sofa!) "Ahhh, OK. 8x10 is not going to cut it if you want impact. If you want drama." This picture shows you why | how to get the look you want... and there's 6 different examples on the site.

Here's something brilliant. An office space designed on a budget. ALL of what is included in this storyboard was found at TARGET. If you visit the site, you will see a bunch more storyboards with different color palettes (this just happens to be "me.") Don't you just love when someone takes the work out of designing for you? And that aqua chair ... sigh. Love that chair.

Anyway, eye candy is always fun. But if you are into great photography (and I know you are!) or design, this is a really fun website to check out...

More tomorrow!
